"Can I really feel joy right now?"

Your Joy Block is Permission

You might not struggle to feel joy - but to trust it, allow it, or stay with it.

Maybe you feel guilty enjoying life when others are hurting, or when your to-do list is still a mile long.

Or maybe joy feels fragile, like it could disappear the moment you let yourself lean into it.

Sometimes it shows up quietly, and your mind whispers: “Should I really feel this right now?”, making it hard to just sit in the moment.

But allowing and savoring joy doesn’t mean you’re ignoring the hard. It means you’re letting something good exist alongside it.

🔑 What could help:

Giving yourself permission to hold both - joy and grief, pleasure and uncertainty. Remind yourself that allowing joy doesn’t minimize the hard; it just makes life more human, more whole.

Tiny practice:

When a good moment comes, whisper this to yourself: “It’s okay to feel this, too.” Really let the feeling in for a few seconds, even if it feels fleeting. Notice where in your body it shows up and just let it be there.
