"Is this really joy?"

Your Joy Block is Perspective

Joy might already be in your life - but it’s wearing a quieter outfit than expected.

If you’ve been waiting for big, dramatic fireworks or perfectly curated moments, you might be missing the subtle, ordinary ways joy is already showing up:
in giggles, stillness, warm hands, and moments of connection that are difficult to put into words.

Joy doesn’t have to be loud or elaborate to matter; it just has to be noticed.

By widening your perspective of what joy is, you open the door to a whole new world - one in which both the “big” and the “small” moments count, as long as they are meaningful to you.

🔑 What could help:

Redefining what joy looks like for you, and honouring the “small” stuff as real and worthy. Give yourself permission to celebrate all of it, knowing that it adds up to a life that feels lighter and more yours.

Tiny practice:

Practice naming joy when it happens, even if it seems minor: a warm blanket, a quiet shower, a text from a friend. Write it down in a notebook, on a sticky note, or in your phone - just give it a little witness.

In 1:1 Joy Coaching, we explore new lenses for joy - helping you see what you’ve been standing in all along.
